About 2 hours from metropolitan Washington DC, Buffalo
Gap Camp has received national publicity for its beauty, its facilities
and the many conferences that are held there throughout the summer and fall
months.
Sleeping cabins are rustic, with plain showers and bunks. You should plan on bringing your sleeping bag or other bedding, towels and the rest.
Nestled in a comfortable valley, the Gap has both indoor and outdoor facilities, with plenty of room to accommodate our work, even in bad weather.
With open air pavilions, a quiet and shallow lake, a spacious log fire sauna, and a great kitchen with adjoining open air dining pavilion for collective meals, the Gap is a mid-point between camping out and being closed in.
The
Buffalo Gap weekend is a time of connectedness to other men...a chance
for us to move away from the stresses of everyday life and the competitive
atmosphere.
a beautiful setting, a quiet lake, good food, quiet and sometimes raucous conversation. It is a chance to open up one's heart in a safe place, surrounded by men of honor and integrity.
It is a chance to speak from the heart. No wonder many men have said that they hope to bring their sons back this year, or their brothers or their fathers. This is a way to let them see the connectedness many of us have found in men's work. Don't pass this opportunity up to be with them and to bring them in.
